Johnny Roger Petty

Johnny Roger Petty, 84, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away at home from natural causes on Thursday, January 29th, 2026.
Born on April 8th, 1941 he was a son of the late Zora Ruth (Massey) Petty and Elbert Wilbur Petty.
He worked many years at Phillips Fibers Corp. He loved playing golf and his family.
He is survived by two sons, Chris Petty (Janine) and Roger Petty (Margaret) of Spartanburg, SC; one daughter, Tammy Petty of Lexington, SC; with five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one granddaughter, Ellen Petty.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
